The effects of stress can range from minor discomfort to major interruptions in your daily life. Left unchecked, it can cause emotional and physical symptoms, including anxiety, depression, headaches, hypertension, gastrointestinal problems, PMS, insomnia, fatigue, infertility, and more.
As a program of Emerging Mindfulness, this 8-week workshop teaches self-care to help improve quality of life and manage the frustrating symptoms of daily stress and stress-related illnesses. Participants will learn to reduce stress and build resilience through a variety of mind/body practices used at the Benson Institute for Mind/Body Medicine.
For more information or to register for the workshop, please call Julie Luzarraga at (402) 502-1024, ext. 290, or email her at juliealuz@midtownmind.com.
Please register at least two weeks in advance to reserve a space.
